ULTIMATE Guide To Beautiful Profiles
The Ultimate Guide to Beautiful Profiles
Profile Mockups
For more information, please visit decoration profiles.
Artwork Showcase
Begin by taking advantage of the artwork showcase, which lets you display four images – one large (506x506) and three smaller ones (100x80) – without using any glitches for larger boxes. Below you'll find a template...
For a comprehensive guide on all the mockups you might need to enhance your profile, check out this resource:

Additionally, the artwork showcase is the only one accepting .GIF format, essentially a low frame rate video which enables you to add some fun animations. Remember that Steam imposes a limit of 10MB or less for artwork, and 8MB or less for .GIFs.
Screenshot Showcases
Screenshot showcases often spotlight in-game pictures capturing exciting or unique moments. However, you can also upload custom images through a loophole in the uploading system. Refer to the 'Animated/Custom Screenshots' section to learn how. Below are the dimensions required for the screenshot showcase.
Custom Info Boxes
Custom info boxes are typically used for adding links to your social media profiles, such as Facebook or YouTube. Many aren't aware of how to make text bold or unlined within these boxes. For instructions, refer to the 'Editing Text' section. Personally, I use my custom info box to list my favorite shows, games, and my MAL account. Here’s an example of my current custom info box...
What you include in your custom info box is up to you, but here's some inspiration to get you started.
A Beginner's Guide to Colour Profiles
In the realm of print on demand products, accurately reproducing designs, especially their colours, is crucial for both designers and customers.
Your designs undergo several changes during the print on demand process: from a physical product to a digital image, and then back to a physical product. This blog post will clarify what a colour profile is and how to use our colour profiles to achieve the best colour match for your custom printed items.
What is a Colour Profile?
A colour profile or ICC profile is a software code that ensures precise and consistent colour management, describing the range of colours a specific device can handle, such as a scanner, monitor, or printer. If all devices involved in processing an image are profiled, the output will reflect the original colours accurately.
Think of colour profiles like translators mediating communication between people who speak different languages. While the translation (colour information) won't be perfect, it will be fairly accurate, ensuring that the colours of your design remain consistent across different devices.
*‘ICC’ stands for International Color Consortium, the body that developed this colour management system.

Colour Model
A system that numerically describes colour, like RGB or CMYK.
RGB
An additive colour model based on transmitted light, comprising red, green, and blue. It's typically used for on-screen work and printing because of its wide gamut.
CMYK
A subtractive colour model based on reflected light, comprising cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. It's usually used for print.
Colour Space
A defined range of colours produced by colour models, e.g., sRGB or Adobe RGB, used to describe a device's capacity to interpret colour information.
Colour Gamut
The complete range of colours available within a colour space.
Colour Value
A combination of decimals and/or letters representing a colour's lightness or darkness.
How to Use Colour Profiles for the Best Colour Match in Print on Demand Products
Before diving in, ensure your monitor is calibrated, and your output devices, including printers, papers, and inks, are profiled. If not, you won't be able to proof your work accurately. It's best to compare our physical samples with our sample print files to note differences and make necessary adjustments.
- Scan or transfer your design to a computer and open the image file in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
- Visit our downloadable assets page and download the colour profile for the product you're working on.
- Once installed, incorporate our colour profiles into your calibrated proofing workflow. Our profiles contain information about our output devices and should be used along with profiles for your devices.
- Ensure you use an RGB-based colour space during editing. Do not embed our colour profiles into your image as they are solely for print proofing. Our systems generally ignore designs with embedded profiles, but embedding them may still alter your design during production.
- After finalizing your design, create your order. Choose the product to customize, upload your edited image, fill in order details, and submit for fulfilment.
Colour management is a core principle of The Prodigi Promise. We constantly calibrate our scanners, monitors, printers, and software to align printed colours with previews generated by our platform. If you're unsatisfied with the final product, we'll offer a one-time free reprint. Adjust your design as needed, and resubmit your order with the updated image. Alternatively, consult a colour management service like Color Confidence for expert advice.
