Wow I must have been out of the booze loop for a while. I'm not a big drinker but I used to enjoy them. felt like having one today but Winn Dixie didn't have any so I went to a liquor store and the closest I found was those Smirnoff Ice things. I remember a 4 pack of wine coolers cost about $4.

I think Seagrams makes them. Also, there are tons of sweeter choices within alcohol now, such as Redd's, those Rita things, Mikes, etc. I think the proliferation of all these other flavored drinks has shrunk the wine cooler market.

I would just make my own if you really wanted some. It was just a way to market cheap wine anyway. Do equal parts of white wine and 7-Up or Sprite.

I just fill a glass halfway with wine, and fill the other half with sprite or ginger ale. This will make a spritzer that tastes like a wine cooler.

I'm pretty sure they still make them, but whereas they used to be the only game in town for a certain type of drinker, now the market is a bit more crowded with various flavored malt beverages of every stripe.

But coolers were flavored like peach or margarita, I could always add white wine, gingerale ale and some peach schnapps.
That's a good idea. Normally my sangria recipe is wine with gingerale, red or white wine, with a shot of rum or bourbon and a tablespoon of sugar. But coolers were flavored like peach or margarita, I could always add white wine, gingerale ale and some peach schnapps.

Oh, I like me some Mike's Hard Lemonade. Two bottles give me a buzz that's just right. Yes I'm a lightweight

I'm not really sure what this means...but that did remind me of B&J. There is a drink finder on their website, which will give you stores that sell their products..

Don't they make wine coolers anymore? - Alcoholic ...
Even way back, "Wine" coolers were made with malt beverage. Cheaper than wine. And you can make what is essentially beer fairly flavorless, so you can add whatever fruity flavors you want to it, plus it's faster to make than wine.
