The main body of Bitan Bridge is a concrete arch structure with a 3-dimensional curvature design. The bridge employs the Steel Caisson Cofferdam method for the deep excavation of the foundation in the Xindian River, for which CEC was recognized with the Construction Technology Automation Award. Bitan Bridge has become a landmark as well as a symbol of technological excellence in infrastructure construction.
Xindian Construction Engineering Co., Ltd.'s Post
A few years ago, shipping containers became a popular choice for constructing homes and commercial spaces. The main reasons were that they are "almost" ready, adaptable, and functional. But, with their prices now sky-high, we need to ask: is it worth it? : · Cost-Effectiveness: Initially cheaper, containers often end up costing more after modifications. · Safety Concerns: The history of whats been transported inside could pose health risks. · Logistical Challenges: Transportation and placement can become complicated depending on the location and access. : · Reduced labor costs. · Customization potential. · Sustainable response by reusing materials. : · Modifications like ventilation, insulation, and aesthetic enhancements are necessary but increase costs. · Potential health hazards from previous contents. · Transport and setup can be challenging and "expensive". Containers offer a quick, material-reusing solution, but when considering the total costsboth immediate and long-termthey may not always be the most economical choice. There are more flexible and aesthetically pleasing construction options available today ; however, in terms of utilizing existing resources, they still remain a great environmental solution.
