Corrugated Steel Pipe

Beveled End Sections are a practical and visually attractive way to complete an installation that includes a slope at either end of a culvert.

These beveled ends are an ideal way to prevent scour at the inlet and “undermining” at the outlet while increasing hydraulic efficiency. When the ends of corrugated pipe are beveled or skewed to match the embankment slope, they will deliver the best hydraulic characteristics. Further, this style also provides for an attractive finish and is particularly cost-effective for large diameter culvert applications.

The company is the world’s best large diameter galvanized corrugated pipe for sale supplier. We are your one-stop shop for all needs. Our staff are highly-specialized and will help you find the product you need.

While the principal purpose of a beveled end finish on corrugated steel pipe culverts or spillways is hydraulic efficiency – other purposes may be to retain the fill slope, discourage burrowing rodents or improve safety. Pacific Corrugated Pipe can fabricate our beveled end sections to blend well with any surrounding. Typical beveled ends include full beveled (also known as a mitered end), SKU-Cut or a step beveled end.

The “step beveled” end fabrications have a small vertical cut at the very end, and also at the top of the end section. Our step beveled ends can be fabricated into a single or double-step beveled end. Also, our beveled ends are available in galvanized, aluminized and poly-coated metal finishes for a wide variety of corrosion resistance and improved durability.

It should be noted that these beveled cuts interrupt the pipe ends’ ability to develop ring compression and measures should be taken to prevent uplift when subjected to extreme hydraulic forces. The opportunity to customize ends to your specific application should be reviewed with your local Pacific Corrugated salesperson or directly with our manufacturing plant.

Spiral Corrugated Pipe - 12” to 144” in Diameter

Spiral corrugated pipes, as the best combination of strength and hydraulic efficiency, feature helical pattern and lock-seam construction in round shapes from 12" to 14" in diameter. They are manufactured from quality galvanized corrugated sheet using advanced German manufacturing technology. Meanwhile, spiral corrugated pipes can be connected by coupling systems or flange plates according to the project requirements.

  • Lightweight - About 1/10 to 1/15 time the weight of traditional concrete pipe in same diameter and length.
  • Easy to transport - Spiral corrugated pipes can be manual carried on narrow construction sites that large handling equipment cannot get in.
  • Fast installation - Spiral corrugated pipes can be assembled at any length based on the construction requirements when installing. Meanwhile, it is possible to disassemble the pipe and remove it to other places when necessary.
  • Superb corrosion resistance - Heavy zinc coating no less than 600g/m2 on both inside and outside of the pipe allows for great rust and corrosion resistance.
  • High applicability - Low requirements for foundation bearing capacity and ground planeness, thus, our pipes still perform well in areas lacking dinas or with low foundation bearing capacity.
  • Various specifications - A wide range of wall thicknesses, pipe diameters and corrugation wave sizes are available to meet specific construction requirements. Meanwhile, four end types are available as shown in the following pictures:
