This weave consists of a limited number of warp wires interwoven with the maximum number of weft wires, creating a stable and robust cloth. The plain Dutch weave provides high filtering capability and strong pressure load resistance. The size of the opening is typically specific, as it results from multiplying the number of weft wires of a particular measurement with their diameter. However, the exact size cannot be easily calculated due to the unique positioning of the wires during the weaving process.

Wire Mesh Weave Patterns: Plain, Twill, Dutch

Common Types of Weaving

We mainly manufacture four types of weaves:
- Plain Weave
- Twill Weave
- Five Heddle Weave
- Plain Dutch
- Twill Dutch

Plain Weave

This is the most commonly used weave. Each warp wire alternates by crossing above and below each weft wire, and both wires generally have the same diameter.

Twill Weave

In this pattern, each weft wire alternates by passing over two and then under two successive warp wires. Each warp wire similarly alternates over two and under two successive weft wires.

Dutch Weave

Featuring fewer but usually heavier diameter warp wires compared to shute wires, Dutch weave has a tortuous flow path rather than a straightforward one. The warp wire, generally larger, runs the length of the cloth, while the smaller shute wire spans its width. Plain Dutch weaves are suitable for handling high flow rates with relatively low pressure drops.

Dutch Twill

This weave packs more wires into a given area than the plain Dutch weave, resulting in finer mesh counts and lower flow. It can filter particles as fine as 2 microns in diameter, providing enhanced filtration capability.

Dutch Plain

This kind of woven wire cloth features a coarser mesh and wire in the warp direction and a finer mesh and wire in the weft direction. Dutch Plain Woven Wire Cloth is highly suitable as a filter cloth due to its firm, compact mesh and high strength.

Five Heddle Weave

This weave offers a smooth top surface and an open lower surface. It is ideal for high mechanical strain and provides excellent filtration performance.
